Urban Designer Matt Tomasulo is the founder and chief civic instigator at Walk [Your City], an emerging, software-based approach to plan and design campaigns of street signs for people. Matt is the chief instigator behind WalkRaleigh, the catalytic guerrilla wayfinding project that has been adopted on all six continents. Matt holds a dual masters degree from UNC-CH and NC State in City & Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture. He has earned national and international recognition for his work in design and development. He and his work have been covered by BBC News, CityLab, Bloomberg, NPR, Wired, and his work was featured at the 13th Venice Biennale. Matt was named as Tarheel of the Week in 2012, and is also a member of NextCity.org’s “Vanguard”, a “40 under 40” class of new urban leaders.
